Pornhub reduces model / producer payout amounts without notification
Performers and producers with content on Pornhub learned this week that the number displayed on their “Earnings” tab in their dashboard is not what Pornhub plans to pay them. After seeing their earnings totals suddenly reduced (Katy Churchill’s dropped $19, other accounts reported hundreds of dollars taken out), models reached out to support. While many have yet to receive a reply, some producers got a response.
If you own a producer channel on @pornhub_premium , make sure to check your pending balance! My earnings were slashed by over $500, and this was money from December which was already calculated. This is going to do a significant amount of harm to independent studios. pic.twitter.com/hAi2r0NRTv

It turns out that Pornhub doesn’t treat the “Earnings” tab as a record of money already earned and therefore due to be paid out to performers/producers, but as a piggy bank to raid to cover their own business losses following the loss of credit card processing. Creators were given no advance notice of the reduction – perhaps they hoped we wouldn’t notice?
