Adult industry attorney Stephan Ferris hosts LGBTQ-focused webinar on FOSTA / SESTA
Adult industry attorney Stephan Ferris is holding an open webinar on the impacts of FOSTA/SESTA on August 4, 2021 at 7:30pm Pacific/10:30pm Eastern time. “F*ck Your Community Standards! SESTA-FOSTA, Social Media & Adult Content Online” will also feature adult industry attorney Gill Sperlein and fetish performer HungerFF, and is presented by the San Francisco Young Leathermen’s Discussion Group (SF YLDG). The session will cover the legal challenges created by FOSTA/SESTA for queer adult content creators online, and how those challenges are affecting the ability of performers and creators to promote themselves and share content online. The webinar will explore the evolution of censorship in the queer adult entertainment arena, namely, FOSTA/SESTA’s impact on social media community standards, heightened record and consent compliance standards for independent content creators and emerging legal issues in this sphere. The second half of the session will include a conversation with fisting specialist HungerFF, and a practical discussion on creating and navigating adult content creation and distribution online.
