AWSummit Launches AWMeetup Online Event
AWSummit launched AWMeetup, an online event, made to bring the industry together for business in a time when COVID-19 is making it impossible and un-safe to meet in-person. The AWMeetup is set for April 27-29, AWMeetup will offer participants a livestream talk show with guests from the industry to discuss various topics. It’s important to note this is is not a replacement for AWSummit, The AWSummit will hopefully take place August 25-28th, but they are monitoring the situation around COVID-19 and will come back with a statement regarding this at the end of May.
First day, there’s a speed networking session, that will pair attendees with potential new business lead based on the type of ticket they register with. The session will provide participants with up to three minutes of cam-to-cam time to discuss new business and exchange virtual business cards. There’s other interactive features like, roundtable sessions where all participants can start a discussion room with up to six people on cam at the same time and chat, and free virtual booths for every company that wants one. Exhibitors can have their own branded spot during the meetup, with opt-in offers, a video explaining their business and the ability to chat with attendees on cam.
