APAG filing approved as standalone union
Following a contentious split from their parent union, the Adult Performance Artists Guild (APAG) has been approved by the Department of Labor as a standalone union. Having a federal filing number from the U.S. Department of Labor means that the LA-based union can open chapters across America and around the world, allowing them to grow their membership and advocate for adult performers internationally.
“It has been a long road for our group. We are so pleased that after so many years of being held down, restricted by past issues with our former parent union, the freedom of having our own filing will empower our members and our community. We will be able to fund our programs and extend our access to care and support for our workers.” – Alana Evans, APAG President
